Life Is Like a Train – Jeff Chan

Jeff’s work deals with the ever-changing landscape of life, capturing memories and thoughts using a variety of mediums.In Life Is Like a Train, projected light is used to recreate a quote from Jeff’s Mom a few years ago. While temporary in nature, Jeff hopes that with her simple way of describing life, with a start and a finish, others can find peace in the life’s natural process and enjoy the journey along the way.

Jeff Chan is a Calgary based artist. In addition to his exhibitions Jeff has also been commissioned to design public artworks for the City of Edmonton, has been Artist in Residence at Estudio Nomada W Studio in Hong Kong and at Gushul Studio in Blairmore, Alberta.
