Yearn
By Doug Haslam & Eveline Kolijn with Sharon Stevens

Thursday Sept 22, 2022

“Yearn” is a vessel to receive written memorials to our beloved dead. Throughout 2021 and 2022 tributes and names were added to Yearn at public events and then at sundown on Equinox September 22, we set it on fire to send our energy into the memories and return the ashes to the Earth.

“What a poetic piece! It gives closure and consolation.” Eveline Kolijn

with Julya Hajnoczky

A hands-on workshop where you’ll be guided through the process of designing and creating your own cyanotype cards. In this small group session, you’ll work through the steps of this historical analogue photo process: preparing your paper, selecting materials to make an image, and using the sun to expose and develop your own print.

Consider the Envelope
