Equinox Vigil is a non-profit community event that depends on donations from people like you.

Equinox Vigil has become a valuable addition to our City’s arts and cultural landscape. 
We are often supported with grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts or Calgary Arts Development but it’s primarily funded through donations from individual citizens.

The cost of producing the Virtually Yours event is significantly less now that we are hosting online. We do pay artist fees, technician fees, rentals, subscriptions and video production costs. Of course there’s website costs and publicity and marketing materials that you are reading right now! 

For example:

Artist fees – $250. each
Video Production – $2000.
Broadcast Technician – $1000.
Online subscriptions – $125.
Flowers and set decorations – $50
Pizza for the broadcast team – $75

Your donation is much appreciated but will not be tax deductible. Our apologies for this.
