Ultimately, we lose each other to something – Jessie Fraser
These woven works mimic the human body and human experience in their creation and deterioration. Each weaving will be laid to rest, my mourning ritual finished by taking a handful of soil and dropping it on top of the cloth. I invite all others who spend time with this work to do the same, allowing them to also lay to rest whoever they choose.
