mpressions – Gillian McKercher

Impressions is a collaboration between poet and writer Nancy Jo Cullen and filmmaker Gillian McKercher. As poetic imagery, Impressions is a visual stream of thought that touches on memory, Western grieving traditions, and the ephemeral quality of dreams. In its site-specific presentation at Equinox Vigil, Impressions will present three unique components of its film for an unusual, deconstructed, but cohesive viewing experience.

Gillian McKercher is a Calgary-based filmmaker best known for co-creating the web-series, The Calgary Collection. Her feature film debut will be released in 2018.
